Historically, essential oils have played a prominent role in everyday life. With more than 200 references to aromatics, incense, and ointments throughout the Bible, essential oils are said to be used for anointing and healing the sick. Today, essential oils are used for aromatherapy, massage therapy, emotional health, personal care, nutritional supplements, household solutions, and much more. CLICK TO ORDER
Some common uses for essential oils include the use of an essential oil diffuser.
What is an essential oil diffuser?
It is simply a pump that disburses the oils into the air
The Benefits Of Diffusing Essential Oils
When 100% Pure Therapeutic-Grade Essential Oil of the highest quality are disbursed into the air it cleans the air and gets inhaled by everyone around. Essential oils are healing to your body, mind and soul. The most important thing to remember when purchasing an essential oil is that it is 100% Pure Therapeutic-Grade Essential Oils. A high quality essential oil such an Young Living Essential Oils are recommended, you only need 1 drop to be effective and a bottle last a long time when kept in a cool dark place such as an oil carrying case. I recommend Young Living Therapro Premium Diffuser. It is both simple to use and a high quality diffuser that will last for years. Not all oils can be diffused due to the thickness of the oils and blends. Another way to use essential oils is simply through inhalation. I took a chemistry class on the uses of essential oils and how they work in the body. How amazing both our bodies and Young Living essential oils are, when inhaled the elements is the oils know exactly where to go in your body. You simple inhale the oils and they do all the work. A cost effective way to have a quick aromatherapy session while you are driving is to put 1-3 drops of your favorite essential oil on a cotton ball and place it in your vehicle’s vent. You may also place a cotton ball in your air conditioning vent in your home, that way when your air conditioner goes on is also disburses essential oils.
For a more relaxing approach you can put 1-3 drops of lavender essential oil into you bath water, however keep in mind that the heat of the water reduces some of the benefits of the oil. My family loves to use Peace and Calming essential oil both in the bath and on his pillow at night to have a restful sleep. Try it I am sure you too will love it.
Peppermint has a strong, clean, fresh, minty aroma. One of the oldest and most highly regarded herbs for soothing digestion, it may also restore digestive efficiency.* Jean Valnet MD studied peppermint’s supportive effect on the liver and respiratory systems. Other scientists have also researched peppermint’s role in improving taste and smell when inhaled. Dr. William N. Dember of the University of Cincinnati studied peppermint’s ability to improve concentration and mental sharpness. Alan Hirsch MD studied peppermint’s ability to directly affect the brain’s satiety center, which triggers a sensation of fullness after meals. This powerful essential oil is often diluted before topical application. Peppermint may also be used to enhance the flavor of food and water.
Blood Pressure, Heart, Marjoram, Aroma Life
Why would anyone not desire a switch from drugs to essential oils? It just boggles the mind. The only up side I see to choosing a pill over a natural remedy is that health insurance may pay for it. It is frustrating to know the FDA and drug companies have so much control.
I’ve been on high blood pressure meds for a couple of years now. Even with daily medication, I was averaging 140’s over high 80’s. About a month ago I started a daily regimen with Young Living Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils.
Every morning I put 2 drops of Marjoram Essential Oil on the bottom of both feet followed by 2 drops of Aroma Life Essential Oil (which smells like Cypress – so nice to smell!) My blood pressure has been consistently in the 120’s over 70’s! So I decided to wean myself off the meds. Didn’t take them over the weekend at all. Just took my blood pressure – after a Monday of work and what is it? 119/74! Did I hear you say WOW? I said WOW!
Wrinkles! Everyone eventually gets at least a few. As you grow older, your skin gets thinner, drier and less elastic. As your skin becomes less able to protect itself from damage, wrinkles develop. Although genetics are the most important determiner of skin texture, a major contributor to wrinkles is spending too much time in the sun. There are some things you can do everyday to help protect your skin from developing those unwanted wrinkles. Avoid spending too much time in the sun, drink a lot of water, moisturize your skin everyday, avoid tanning salons and use Young Living Products!
If your wrinkles are bothering you, you have more options than ever to help eliminate or at least diminish their appearance. Did you know that Young Living has several products to help with those unwanted wrinkles? Here are some excellent tips from Young Living to help you with your anti-aging process:
A.R.T. Day Activator: This unique facial cream derives all of its ingredients from plants. It combines the skin revitalizing power of essential oils with an anti-aging complex that will reduce fine lines and wrinkles, diminish age spots, even skin tone and increases elasticity and density of your skin. This skin cream will deliver a noticeable difference!
Wolfberry Eye Cream: This specially formulated eye cream will ease eye puffiness and dark circles, and will promote skin tightening.
Boswellia Wrinkle Cream: Use this cream daily to help minimize and prevent wrinkles. Apply this cream to both your face and neck for amazing results.
These 3 products are unique because they all contain “wolfberry seed oil”. For centuries the Chinese have been using this oil to promote youthful skin. This oil is rich in vitamin E, linoleic, and linoleic acids, but most importantly it has an unusual chemistry that nourishes and hydrates the skin. Many claim that “wolfberry seed oil” is one of the best oils out there for the skin.
